Where do you get this information?

First, we know how many Google searches are being done monthly in your city by each service category (HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical). Based on the number of Google searches, we’re able to use our first party data to determine the number of website visits, leads and new business you may be able to generate with a Good, Better or Best web presence on Google.  

Are using Cities or Metro Areas?

We are using google search estimates from Metro areas. This is because most HVAC and Plumbing companies service customers outside of the city limits. 

So what's Good, Better and Best?

Our experience tells us that getting 5% of clicks on Google (for a service category) is pretty Good. For example, if 100 searches are conducted for “hvac services” and you generate 5 clicks from those searches, you’d have a 5% “click-share”. Getting a 12% click-share would be Better. And a 15%+ click-share would be Best. 

Can you explain the Clicks and Leads?

When we refer to “Clicks”, we’re suggesting that this is the number of estimated website visits you’d generate from Google searches. This could be from Google Ads, Local Services Ads (Google Guarantee), Map Listing visits and/or Organic website visits. 

When we refer to leads, these would be inbound leads in the form of phone calls, form fills or live chats that came from your Google presence.

How do you calculate these numbers?

We first start by running estimates for how many google searches are conducted in your City for a service category (such as Plumbing Services). We then use first party data to calculate “click-share” that results in website visits. We then take the number of website visits and utilize first-party lead conversion rate data to calculate inbound leads. Finally, we factor industry standard inbound lead to service request booked rates. Because you gave us the average revenue per job, we can give an estimate for how much revenue you should be able to generate with a Good, Better, or Best web presence.
